A Typical Schedule

Day 1 activities are designed to introduce students to Florida's Longleaf Pine ecosystem. Students will explore our exhibit hall, go on a hike, and get anoverview of program topics.

Day 2 is typically spent in the field on Nokuse Plantation, a 54,000 acre nature preserve. A Nokuse research biologist will accompany the students to discuss the mission and work being done.

Day 3 activities are focused on native animals and their connections with Florida ecosystems. Students will get hands-on experience with many of the Biophilia Center's animal ambassadors.
